Last year our #goaliefam traveled to Luthor, MI, and hiked the Silver Creek Pathway in the Huron-Manistee National Park. This year, we are heading to Luton Park located 10 minutes from downtown Rockford, MI. After the hiking is done, we'll gather 'round one of the grills/picnic tables located at the trail head and enjoy hot cider and munchies at the GSL Potluck.

Luton Park is a family friendly multi-use park with 9.7 miles of interconnected trails. The park features a native prairie, pines, hardwoods, marshes and three bridge crossings over Rum Creek. Luton Park trails were designed for mountain-biking and have made the park a well-known regional attraction for this use. Hiking, trail running, bird watching, cross country skiing and snow shoeing are also popular activities.
